Ambassador
Pia is a recognised leader for her work in empowering women and supporting entrepreneurship. With qualifications in law, business and corporate governance, and 30+ years professional and commercial experience, Pia is a seasoned businesswoman and strategic advisor to innovators, corporations, and policy makers. Her lived entrepreneurial experience, commercial know-how and diverse networks enable her to leverage, support and amplify the opportunities which innovation, entrepreneurship and the digital economy offer. Pia manages a portfolio of interests and sits on a number of boards in the technology, property, health and energy sectors.
As the mother of three adult children, she remains an ever-enthusiastic champion for diversity, equality and promoting women in leadership and business. Pia is one of the original five co-founders of VentureX HQ, the immediate past Chair of Women in Technology WA and in 2018 was awarded the Excellence in Gender Equity Promotion Award by the United Nations Association of Australia (WA Division) for her advocacy work. In early 2023, Pia stepped down as a Director of VentureX HQ, but remains an enthusiastic champion and Ambassador of VXHQ.
